RailPort Business Park opened a new entrance that provides greater access for existing industry and demonstrates a commitment to improving the infrastructure within the park.
Power Way extends access to the west between GDF Suez, Midlothian Power Station, and Target's Distribution Center.
"The new road provides an additional access point into the RailPort complex, creating a more convenient route for employees traveling in from the south and west areas of the community," said Mike Knisley, plant manager at GDF Suez, in a recent Waxahachie Daily Light article.
Improvements such as Power Way, the new grade separation at RailPort's Highway 67 entrance, and other projects are meeting the needs of existing industry while preparing for growth of new corporate clients.
Midlothian, Texas, is centrally located on the south side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway 287 and touts the advantage of having dual Class 1 railroads with the BNSF and Union Pacific.
