Jennifer Baker was appointed to the position of Marketing Manager of Midlothian Economic Development, according to President and Chief Executive Larry Barnett.
A graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, Baker brings experience as the Marketing Coordinator in the pharmacy industry to her new position, along with marketing consulting and graphic design.
“I am impressed with the combination of experience and energy Jennifer brings to our efforts to build positive business growth in Midlothian,” Barnett said. “We are enthusiastic about her capacity to add to Midlothian Economic Development’s efforts to attract and encourage companies to invest in our community.”
Baker, a native of Altus, Okla., said she felt a special draw to Midlothian as she planned a move to the DFW area.
“I found a community with the feel of a small town, in that the people are friendly and welcoming, coupled with growing business and industrial potential.” said Baker.
Baker’s initial work will focus on research, social and digital media outreach programs as well as support of work to enhance retail, commercial and industrial growth in the city.
