In an effort to help Tarleton State University students and local communities connect with area companies, Career Services will present a Career & Internship Expo in April 2015 at the Midlothian Conference Center in Midlothian, Texas.
The event, presented in partnership with Midlothian Economic Development, will be held April 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. Registration is $30 per company and includes dinner refreshments.
Tarleton will offer on-campus interviews to any companies wishing to interview potential employees and will extend its Hire a Texan recruiting system, available through the Tarleton careers website.
Tarleton is a member of the Midlothian Higher Education Center (MHEC) located at Navarro College – Midlothian Campus, which offers easily accessible and affordable college solutions to both area communities and employers and is testament to Midlothian’s commitment to educational excellence.
Comprised of Navarro College and Tarleton State University, MHEC provides bachelor’s and graduate degrees to residents of Ellis County and the surrounding southern Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Tarleton’s upcoming Career & Internship Expo is just one example of how Midlothian’s institutions of higher learning are helping businesses succeed in today’s competitive environment.
