Applied LNG To Construct New Plant In Midlothian, TX

On Nov. 20, 2014, Applied LNG, the United States’ second-largest producer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), broke ground on a $150 million facility in Midlothian, Texas. The Westlake Village, Calif.-based company purchased 31 acres in Midlothian’s RailPort Business Park.The multi-liquefier LNG production platform will consist of up to five liquefiers with a production capacity of 86,000 gallons per day per liquefier, and a total on-site storage capacity of 1.5 million LNG gallons.
